I treasure this picture from Mission Center. This is what the focus is all about: them. Not me.
And not even with regards to Mission Center, but with regards to teaching. Who cares how my assessment assignment turns out, so long as they understand decimals? Who cares what they think of me, so long as I am kind? Did I laugh with any of them today? Yesterday? This week?
Have I lost my passion?

Oh, how I miss Mission Center. Great picture. It really does show what it's all about. Did a child take the photo? And do I know that little boy? It can't be little Kyle, can it?
I know what you mean about teaching. Sometimes I just have to step back and evaluate. How many times have I said to "stop" and how many time have I encouraged today? Hopefully the latter wins out!
Hannah took it, and yeah - that's Kyle!! Isn't he precious?!
I'm really hoping that this week turns out better with student teaching. I want to be a blessing to the students.
