I used to do that. The worst thing that ever happened/I am proud of in an "is this really that good?" kind of way: I once wrote an eight page paper in three hours and got an A... granted this was an Eagle River course, but you get my drift.
In a different class I used to open my textbook to a random page in the chapter we were supposed to read for that week, read a sentence, and then write my weekly reading response based off that. I always got 100% on them.
